Mr. Chițescu, as CEO of CCEM, chooses a new approach “on a new path together with the same trustworthy people”, key experts and valuable professionals that he coordinated between May 2014-March 2023 when he served as CEO at ISPE and later at ISPE Design and Consulting.
After graduating the Politehnica University of Bucharest – Materials Science and Engineering Faculty, Mr. Chițescu also gained an IPMA Project Manager certificate. Always dedicated to improving a company’s performance, Mr. Chitescu upskilled through Six Sigma Green Belt certification, provided by Synergenet, Inc – Belgium. Additionally, he has competences in coordinating different investment projects in the energy, mining and oil & gas industries, environmental engineering and gained experience by bringing his contribution in several European projects co-financed by H2020, RFCS programs or EBRD. In the past he was involved, as project manager, in several projects related to DHS retrofitting and upgrading, implementation in the coal-based energy industry of environmental protection technologies as FGD plant, ash & slag removal in dense slurry systems, and low NOx burners. Before joining ISPE, he was the head of the Quality Department and Production Unit at Romenergo-Mecanic, overseeing the execution and quality control of high-power energy equipment and successfully completing contracts with top international partners such as General Electric, Alstom, Ansaldo Energia, and Voestapline.
Mr. Chițescu is member of the National Romanian Committee for World Energy Council (WEC-RNC).
