Environmental protection

CEM has already achieved substantial milestones, in its first year of intensive work, securing a turnover of approximately 2.6 million EUR, with 11% allocated to environmental protection projects.

Thus, through the consulting and engineering services delivered, CCEM experts have achieved:

• EIA for 2,535 MW in conventional energy, 8 MWp in solar energy and 2100 km OHL interconnection Romania-Republic of Moldova;
• 490 ha of industrial wastes dumps (closure, post-closure monitoring, remediation-reclamation-repurposing, expansion) – technical consulting; permitting; engineering; onsite technical assistance during construction;
• 2,680 mc/h in industrial water management systems – technical consulting; permitting;
• 20,173 ha of irrigated surfaces – technical consulting; permitting and 11.7 km of irrigation channels, including 3 pumping stations – onsite technical assistance during retrofitting;
• 6 analyses and reports (CBA, FS, IA etc.) for financing applications submitted for EU funds (AFIR, PNDR).

Our environmental consulting and engineering services have been requested by clients in both conventional and renewable energy industries, the cement industry, mining, metallurgical industry, processing industry – petrochemicals, circular economy – industrial or domestic wastes operators, agriculture, by governmental institutions, as well as consulting and research entities.
