On 8–9 June 2026, a CCEM delegation, coordinated by Dr. Claudia Tomescu, Head of the Project Development Department and Project Manager, participated in the meeting of the Technical Approval Committee (CAT) as part of the environmental permitting procedure for the first phase of the CCGT MASS Mintia investment – the Open Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT) component.

The Technical Approval Committee meeting was organized in Deva by the Hunedoara County Environmental Directorate, part of the National Agency for Environment and Protected Areas.

On this occasion, CCEM project team also visited the Mintia construction site, where they had the opportunity to observe the works’ progress and the scale of one of the most significant new energy investments currently under development in Romania.
