Point achieved on the Modernisation Fund Scoreboard
The Municipality of Cluj-Napoca has taken a significant step towards energy efficiency and enhanced comfort for its residents by starting to upgrade its District Heating System (SACET). The project for Lot 1 – Modernised Zonal Heating Plant (CTZ), including the primary transmission and distribution heating networks associated with the thermal stations within the reconfigured CTZ area, has a total value of 353.6 million lei (€71 million), of which 248.8 million lei (€50 million) is cofinanced through the Modernisation Fund.
CCEM, through its technical, economic, and institutional consulting services, played a decisive role in the success of this project. The documentation prepared – Feasibility Study, Cost-Benefit Analysis, Institutional Analysis – and the assistance provided by the Pre-Investment Studies team led by Ms. Bianca Lepădatu, under the coordination of Mr. Marian Dobrin, Director of the Energy Division, ensured the funding approval for this vital project.
This is the professional support our company provides to municipalities to ensure efficient and affordable access to hot water and heating for their residents.
Congratulations to the CCEM team and the fund applicant – TERMOFICARE Cluj-Napoca, for this remarkable achievement!
