Public utilities and urban infrastructure

CCEM has made remarkable progress since its establishment in April 2023, having several completed and in-progress contracts, of which 14% are projects for the provision of public utilities and for the development of urban infrastructure.

Briefly, CCEM provided services for:

• 88 km of thermal energy network systems, retrofitted and upgraded – strategies; project management; techno-economic consulting (FS, CBA);
• 51 streets with water and sewage networks (resized) – techno-economic consulting (FS); technical consulting; permitting; engineering (basic – detail design);
• over 400 end-users’ connections and service lines to the water-sewerage infrastructure – permitting; engineering (basic design);
• 4.3 ha ecological sludge landfill – techno-economic consulting (FS, closure and field studies, phytoremediation); permitting; engineering (basic – detail design); onsite technical assistance and operation monitoring;
• 15 ha urban wastes dumps (closure, management centers) – technical consulting; permitting; engineering; onsite technical assistance during construction;
• analyses and reports (CBA, FS, etc.) for financing applications submitted for EU funds (Modernisation Fund, PNRR, PDD).

Clients who have had the confidence to collaborate with CCEM – a newly established company, come from the local and regional public administrations, and from various sectors such as water and sewage, DHS, integrated waste management, circular economy / waste-to-energy (e.g., sludge from wastewater treatment plants) and airport infrastructure.
