Last week, our team carried out its first site visit to Stejaru Hydropower Plant (Neamț County) as part of the retrofitting project of hydro units HA1–HA4. The purpose of the visit was to analyse the on-site technical conditions and, going forward, to align the design solutions with the actual site realities.

Energy and Environmental Consulting Company S.A. (CCEM) is part of the consortium that won the tender organized by Hidroelectrica, coordinated by Hidroserv, together with the following subcontractors: UCMH – Hydroelectric Machinery Construction Plant Reșița, Electromontaj S.A., ELECTROMONTAJ CARPATI, General Design Tech, ICPE ACTEL, Hydro Proiect Invest, and Nibaco SRL.

Within this strategic project, CCEM provides an integrated package of services:

• Technical consulting and expert appraisal;
• Permitting documentation (DTOE);
• Engineering (Basic and detail design, As-Built documentation);
• Technical assistance during construction;
• Documentation for testing, certification, and qualification of the future hydropower units.

The service package will cover hydraulic structures, power plant installations, the control room and the 110 kV ES, as well as the mechanical and electrical systems upgrading (SCADA, fire protection, transformers, HVAC, lighting installations, security systems, turbine, etc.).

By contributing to the modernisation of a hydropower facility – essential to the national power system, CCEM actively supports the improvement of performance & safety, and lifespan of Romania’s energy infrastructure.
